It is imperative to begin to see the ways creating new technology intersects with global forces that are political, economic, and, at some level, cultural in origin. This thesis seeks to explore the profound impact of technology on enhancing human existence collectively, with a particular focus on the facilitation of communication and connectivity among individuals and communities worldwide.
